A woman committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan today evening at her house located at Ayad Road.

Divya (name changed), 46, a house wife and mother of three children locked herself in a room.  Since she was in her room for a long time, when her relatives knocked on the door, there was no response.  Finally after breaking the door open, they found the woman hanging from the ceiling fan.

Husband of the deceased owns a tent shop at Ayad.  The reason of suicide is not clear till the time of writing this news.

A police team from Bhupalpura Police Station reached on the spot and has started the investigations.
