A three year old girl who was found abandoned yesterday on 5th July at city railway station was sent to Narayan Seva Sansthan, where she would receive care for next seven days.

According to Child Welfare Committee (CWC), during the period, if the child’s parents will not come to claim her custody, she would be sent to the shelter home at Jaipur.

The child is specially challenged and was found in bad health condition at Railway Station and was admitted yesterday into the pediatric ward of MB Hospital.

The condition of the child is said to be stable now and a case has been lodged against the parents under section 317 of IPC for abandoning the child.

CWC team first took the child at Mahesh Ashram, but due to lack of team and resources in handling such physically and mentally challenged children, the child was later shifted to Narayan Seva Samiti.
