Parents whose children are studying in a newly opened private school of the city complained regarding alleged mismanagement in the school. However, the school administration rejected all claims as baseless and false.

According to parents, the school demanded Rs.650 from every student for the upcoming annual function. Moreover, school is also not giving receipt of the amount and the function is scheduled between the examinations.

Speaking on the issue, the principal of the school said, “We have not asked Rs.650 from every student, only those who wish to participate in the function. Second, we had kept everything transparent for both students and parents to avoid any misunderstanding.”

“Providing receipt for annual function expense is not at all mandatory. No school gives such receipt to parents” said the principal.

Speaking further, the school management said, “The school is running perfectly with all amenities provided to students, still some parents are creating problems and bringing such baseless issues to spoil the image of school.”

The concerned parents also gave memorandum to district collector and district education officer.
