Body of a 30-year old pregnant lady was recovered from a well in the Rampura area today morning at 10 am. The victim’s brother has accused the lady’s in-laws of killing her and throwing her body in the well.

According to the FIR lodged by Sukhlal, brother of Sajja, 30, w/o Taru Lal Kalbelia, resident of the Rampura village, his sister was allegedly beaten by her husband Taru and other members of family including Taru’s sister and sister in law.

“They thrashed my sister and then threw her inside a well near their house,” said Sukhlal in an FIR.

He also mentioned in the FIR that Taru often use to beat Sajja and used to torture her for dowry even after 10 years of the marriage.

SukhLal said “My sister was a mother of four children and that she was currently in her fifth month of pregnancy.”

A case has been registered by the police against Taru and his relatives and an investigation has been initiated.
