Udaipur, April 4 2025: The Udaipur RTO office, in a major strike on a Ola showroom on Friday April 4, seized 16 e-Scooters from the Ola e-Scooter showroom located at Goverdhan Vilas in Udaipur.

Regional Transport Officer Gyandev Vishwakarma, in his report, said that District Transport Officer Nitin Bohra conducted a raid on the Ola e-Scooter showroom at Goverdhan Vilas and seized 16 vehicles, as they were being sold against the regulations. He added that the owner of the showroom was charged with a case and a penalty for conducting his business without a departmental trade certificate.

Explaining in detail, Vishwakarma said that when the investigating officers went to the showroom they discovered that the business was being conducted without the necessary documentation and without a trade certificate. He added that two-wheeler and four-wheeler vehicles dealers need to procure a trade certificate from the RTO. He said that it has come to the departments notice that vehicle showrooms in the internal areas of the city as well as in remote villages around the city, are conducting this business without the required approvals. This led them to form a team and conduct this operation.
