123^rd Ambedkar Jayanti was celebrated today in the city with a rally and other programs by Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti Samaroh Samiti.

In the memory of Bharat Ratna Bhim Rao Ambedkar, a rally was flagged off at 8 am by Mayor Rajni Dangi and MLA Udaipur (Rural) Sajjan Katara from Ambedkar Circle, Court Chouraha. It passed through Town Hall, Delhi Gate, Hathipol and concluded back from where it started.

Thereafter, a ceremony was organized in presence of the Chief Guests Mangi Lal Garasiya, State Cabinet Minister; Kailash Meghwal, former Home Minister; Mahaveer Bhagora, former MP; and Trilok Purbia MLA.

Member of the Committee Advocate Shankar Nimawat informed that on the occasion, talented candidates in various fields from SC ST category were honored by the president of the committee, Shailendra Singh Chauhan. The program concluded at 3 pm.
