Republic Day Parade 2026: Rajasthan Tableau Awarded Among Top Three by Popular Choice

New Delhi, Jan 29, 2026: A three-Judge panel constituted for assessing the performance of the contingents and tableaux participating in the Republic Day Parade 2026, declared the results on January 28, 2026. As per the official Press Release, the Indian Navy contingent was awarded the Best Marching Contingent among the three Services. In the popular choice category, the Rajasthan Tableaux (Golden Touch of the Desert) received the third prize among all the States and UTs. The full results are as follows:

• Top Three Tableaux (States & UTs):

1. Maharashtra (Ganeshotsav: A Symbol of Aatmanirbharta)
2. Jammu & Kashmir (Handicrafts and Folk Dances of Jammu & Kashmir)
3. Kerala (Water Metro & 100% Digital Literacy: Aatmanirbhar Kerala for Aatmanirbhar Bharat)

• Best Marching Contingent among three Services: Indian Navy
• Best Marching Contingent among CAPFs/other Auxiliary Forces - Delhi Police
• Best tableau from the Central Ministries / Departments - Ministry of Culture (Vande Mataram - The Soul Cry of a Nation)

Special Prize:

1. Central Public Works Department (Vande Mataram - Commemorating 150 Years)
2. 'Vande Mataram: The Eternal Resonance of India Dance Group)

Popular Choice Awards (based on online polls conducted by MyGov portal)

• Top three tableaux (States/UTs):

1. Gujarat (Mantra of Swadeshi – Self-Reliance – Freedom: Vande Mataram)
2. Uttar Pradesh (Culture of Bundelkhand)
3. Rajasthan (Golden Touch of the Desert: Bikaner Gold Art (Usta Art))

• Best Marching Contingent among three Services - Assam Regiment
