The doctors decided to join the duty from tonight but also warned for dire consequences if the demands were not fulfilled.
The resident doctors of Udaipur went on strike from 29th January after a patient’s attendant allegedly slapped a resident doctor on duty and fled away. Since then, the doctors demanded to arrest the accused.
Dr. Chandra Mathur, Principal of RNT Medical College informed that the doctors will return on their duties by tonight. The decision came after a meeting with Health Minister, representatives of Resident Doctors and senior medical staff.
