In a report lodged at Surajpol Police Station, cash was looted off an auto rickshaw passenger by the fellow passengers today afternoon.

In the incident that occurred near the city railway station, four persons snatched Rs. 10,000 off a fellow passenger, who was identified as Bura Singh Chouhan r/o Pipdi, Rajsamand. Bura had come to Udaipur for treatment and was returning home to his brother-in-laws house in Sector 14 in an auto.

When the auto reached near the City Railway Station, four fellow passengers started beating him and snatched Rs. 10,000 off, before throwing him on the road, and fleeing away.

Bura immediately rushed to the Surajpol Police Station and registered the case.

The Police has installed barricades at various places around the city.
