Relatives of the deceased, waiting outside mortuary

55 year old Sunderlal Chordia, resident of Vidhya Vihar, Pula succumbed to his injuries after he met with a road accident. Sunderlal was one among 8 other people who have been injured in a jeep – tempo collision that occurred today afternoon at Chikalwas road.

Sunderlal, who received severe head injuries died while being treated at MB Hospital. He was returning back in a jeep from Jaswantgarh where he was employed as an Accountant with a Government Senior Secondary School.

The accident occurred near the Coca-Cola bottling plant today early afternoon when a speeding tempo crashed into a jeep loaded with passengers.

According to sources, Sunderlal and his family were preparing for his son’s wedding which was scheduled on 24^th April.

The drivers of both vehicles fled away soon after the accident. All injured were shifted to MB hospital in the 108 ambulance service.
