Angry, exhausted and disappointed by the reaction of Chief Minister, the acid attack victim, Shalu Jain has shaved her head today and also vows to continue her protest.

Although, after sitting on hunger strike for more than 8 days, Shalu was rushed to the Hospital because of her declining health and simultaneously her strike was called off.

Shalu said that, “I have decided to shave my head to express my anger over the attitude of the government and administration”.

“I have also been supported by national organizations and other acid attack survivors from all over the country”, she added.

Shalu was demanding compensation from administration and was sitting on hunger strike. She tried to put forward her concern in front of the CM Vasundhara Raje, who was visiting the city; but CM did not respond positively.
