Students injured in Honey Bee attack at college fest
An alleged attack of honey bees has been reported from Advent College, Udaipur where a few students of the college were severely stung by a few stray colonies of honey bees and have been subsequently admitted to MB Hospital today.
The incident occurred during the annual fest, though the cause of the attack is yet not established. The students who were admitted to hospital are reportedly having major stings on their face and body and are being treated accordingly.

According to sources, there was a honey bee comb at the first floor of one of the Advent College buildings. While the celebrations in the fest were going on, a sudden attack by the bees left a few students injured, two of them seriously. Four students were rushed to the hospital, of which one of the girls, Kritika had received more than 100 bites and was taken to emergency.
As per information received from the college, Kritika, who was attacked and subsequently covered from head to toe in honey bees; was made to jump into a nearby pond, to avoid further injury.
The teachers and administrative members of the college who escorted the students to hospital, abstained from commenting further on the incident.
