In a heart breaking incident that occurred yesterday, a 13-year-old boy drowned in the waters of Madar. Ambamata Police undertook the search operation today and handed over the dead body to the parents after postmortem.

Lalit Dangi, s/o Mohan Dangi, resident of Thur village was a student of 7^th standard. Yesterday after school, Lalit along with few friends went to the Madar water resource near Thur village for bathing.

Accidently, Lalit slipped under the deep water and got drowned due to heavy water flow and pressure. Friends of the deceased boy informed his parents about the mishap, however due to late evening hours the search operation could not be undertaken yesterday.

Today morning Ambamata Police undertook the operation and dead body of the boy was recovered after a rigorous search of almost 2-3 hours. The body has been handed over to the parents after post mortem.
