In two different incidences occurred today, two women have committed suicides by hanging themselves.

Rukhsar, 20, resident of Savina Slum Colony hanged herself from the roof at her residence today afternoon. Later in the afternoon, Sita Chouhan, 27, resident of Khatikwada, Hathipol was found hanging in her room.

Mental stress is a reason assumed in both the cases.

According to police, at 3 PM today, Rukhsar went to her room and locked it from inside. After few minutes, when her mother found that the room is locked, she knocked several times, but after no response from Rukhsar, the room was forced open and Rukhsar was found hanging from the roof. Rukhsar’s father, Iqbal Khan informed Hiran Magri Police about the incidence.

In the other case, Sita Chouhan, resident of Khatikwada committed suicide due to mental stress. Sita was a divorcee staying at her mother’s residence. According to sources, she was suicidal and attempted to kill herself before.
