Dr. Vishwa Mehta Stands First in Pharmaco-vigilance Quiz
UdaipurTimes, September 22, 2026 | Udaipur Local News, People of Udaipur: Dr. Vishwa Mehta of Udaipur has secured first place at the National-Level Quiz Competition organized as part of the 6th Pharmaco-Vigilance Week 2026.
This achievement reflects Dr. Mehta's research interest in the safe use of medicines by patients, identification, reporting, and management of Adverse Drug Reactions, as well as his commitment to patient-centered "Safe Medication Practices"—ensuring accurate and precise medical care for patients.
A Gold Medalist and Best Graduate Student during his MBBS, Awarded with Coveted Sir Ratan Tata Trust Scholar, Dr. Mehta has consistently brought pride to Udaipur. Also Honoured with Maharana Mewar's Bhamashah Award for his Extraordinary Achievements.
Currently, he is a resident doctor pursuing MD Pharmacology at the region's prestigious R.N.T. Medical College and M.B. Hospital, while at present serving as a DRP Resident Doctor at the Nathdwara District Hospital under the District Residency Programme (DRP). In recognition of his outstanding performance, the ADR Monitoring Centre - S.M.S. Medical College and Associated Hospitals, Jaipur, congratulated him with a certificate and prize, wishing him a bright future.
