Opposing the upcoming Valentine’s Day event and celebrations, the Bajrang Mewar Sena, a right-wing Hindu activist group burned V-Day greeting cards at Surajpol Chouraha today and asked youth to keep away from such events which are inspired by western culture.

The group has also decided to make a special vigilance team to prevent young boys and girls to celebrate the event which is often linked as a special day for lovers.

Events like V-Day and New Year’s eve is constantly opposed by radical groups who justify this by saying that such celebrations provoke immorality which is unacceptable in the Indian society.
