Two suspects have been apprehended by the Surajpol Police with silver ornaments weighing more than 30Kgs.

The jewellery and the vehicle that was used to plan and carry out the heist were seized by the Police and have been taken into custody.

Last night, followign a call Surajpol Police got through sources that a car full of silver ornaments was coming towards Udiapol Choraha, a Road Blockade was setup and at around 3 am a car was stopped and checked, in which silver ornaments were found filled in suitcases and bags.

No bills or any other supporting documents for the items were found, and the suspects were detained and brought to the Police Station.

The suspects as informed by the police were identified as Shivraj Soni and Govind Soni residents of Badi Sadri and they informed the police that they were going to Badi Sadri from Ahmadabad in their car.

Police have also offered them a chance to be released if they are able to present any documents to the effect of them owning those documents.
