Goverdhan Vilas police arrested three accused of robbery from Savina Matt area today. All the accused have been on run since a case of robbery was registered against them at Goverdhan vilas police station by the victim.

Ishwar Singh (22), Shaitan Singh (24), Nirbhay Singh Alias Bunty of Savina were accused by the victim Shakti Singh of Savina area of snatching a gold chain from his neck and Rs. 400 in cash from him yesterday when he went at Nela Talab with his friend Himmat Suthar.

Shakti Singh informed the police that when he was going towards Nela Talab at Goverdhan Vilas, the accused came in their car and intercepted him on the road and started abusing him. They, then, snatched the valuables from him and fled from the scene.

A search operation for the accused trio was launched by the police soon after getting report from the victim. Today, through sources, they got the information that the trio was present at Savina Matt area. Acting on the tip-off, police raided the place and took the accused under custody.
