All hopes shattered in a moment after the news of demise of Lieutenant Abhinav Nagori reached Udaipur. The rescue operation team found his body today morning and his co-pilot Lieutenant Kiran Shekhaawat’s body was found last night.

All hopes shattered in a moment after the news of demise of Lieutenant Abhinav Nagori reached Udaipur. The rescue operation team found his body today morning and his co-pilot Lieutenant Kiran Shekhaawat’s body was found last night.

His father was in Goa when he received the news. Sources say that a board of inquiry has already been acting to find out the reason of the mishap.

Here at Nagori’s house, the teary eyed well wishers, relatives and friends of family had been praying and keeping a hope of Abhinav’s safe return but destiny had other plans. The younger sister of Abhinav reached Udaipur while his elder sister is on her way.

As told by his sister, Abhinav was born on 30th July 1990 at Kanod and after 4 years, the entire family shifted to Udaipur. Always an above average student in school, he was always passionate towards his nation. Lieutenant Abhinav lovingly called as ‘Gappi’ had completed his schooling from Udaipur and went to Bangalore for higher studies. After the completion of Engineering, he got selected in Navy in 2012.

“Last year in December, Abhinav visited me in Jodhpur and from there we both came down to Udaipur. After spending time with family he went back to Goa at his base where he was posted. That was the last time I saw him,” said his sister.
