A police head constable and chowki in charge was arrested by Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) with Rs.7000 bribe. The amount was demanded by the cop in return of removing few names from an FIR.

The accused policeman Shantilal Choudhary is deployed at Baagpura Police Chowki as an in charge.

According to Ad.S.P Brijesh Soni (ACB), “The complaint against Choudhary was reported by Roop Lal from whom the cop demanded Rs.10000 in return of removing names of his relatives from an FIR. After negotiation, the final amount was decided as Rs.7000.”

Rooplal approached ACB and after verification, The ACB team consisting of officers Akhtar Khan, Arun Meena, Vikram and Jitendra Sanadia headed by Dysp Rajiv Joshi and C.I. Harish Chandra reached Baagpura and arrested Shantilal while he was taking bribe from the victim.
