Firing victim still critical, Police launch massive manhunt

Rahul was rushed to a private hospital in Ahmedabad where his condition is said to be still critical. On the other side, Police team is raiding different places of the city to catch the assailant who shot Rahul from close range.
Pratap Nagar C.I Labhuram said, “We are gathering information about the accused. We are also tracing some phone numbers through BTS system.”
According to Rahul’s cousin Lokesh, Rahul is a 2nd year student of Shramjeevi College. He got married in May 2013. As per the relatives, Rahul had no personal enmity with anyone.
Rahul’s mother owns the business of vegetables while his father is working at MPUAT.
On Sunday evening at around 7:30pm, a young man covering his face walked down to the Rahul’s shop and shot one round on the back side of his ear and fled from the scene. As per the sources, the bullet is stuck in the skull of victim.
