A house at Pratap Nagar area was targeted by thieves, while the family was out of the city to attend a wedding function. The thieves also targeted the adjacent dwelling, rented to other family and stole jewelries worth lacs of rupees.

According to Pratap Nagar Police, the house of Devendra Singh Devra located at Krishna Colony, near Old RTO Office was found completely ransacked, when the family returned home today morning. The tenant, Surpal Singh Solanki’s house was also found open and precious jewelries were missing.

Both families were out of the city and returned today. In the initial investigation and report lodged by both Devendra and Surpal, approximately 34 tola gold, 2 tola silver jewelries and few thousand rupees cash are missing.

The thieves also used refrigerator and ate food stored in it. Both the houses were absolutely messed up.
