A partially bared body of a woman was found today in bushes near Goverdhan Sagar. Police doubts murder and also believe that the victim might have been raped before being executed.

Goverdhan Vilas police responded and started investigation. Police S.P. Mahesh Kumar Goyal also reached the spot and inspected the situation.

According to police, the victim is around 30-year-old and her face was smashed, probably to hide the identity. The body was half clothed and a mark of strangulating was seen on the neck.

Prima Facie, it appears as a murder and we also cannot reject the possibility of rape, said one of the police officials investigating the case. Nothing could be clear before postmortem report, says officer.

A local of the area noticed the body lying under the bushes and informed police.
