Three students of a Nursing College were detained for manhandling a junior student allegedly with the intention of ragging.

Two students are from U.P while the third accused is from Bharatpur.

All three are initially booked under section 151 Crpc and the charges may amend if ragging or attempt of ragging is proved during investigation, said a police official of Hathipol Police Station.

Action was taken following a complaint lodged by a junior student Ramesh Chandra who accused all three for assaulting him when he didn’t obey their orders. Both the victim and accused are staying at hostel located at Madhuban.
