Udaipur police officer to be awarded at Republic Day Parade, Jaipur

Udaipur’s Assistant Sub Inspector of Police, Devendra Singh Rao will be awarded with the prestigious Police Medal on this coming Republic Day Parade at Jaipur. Rao will be honored for his extra ordinary work during his 34 years of duty.

55-year-old Devendra Singh Rao is presently appointed at the Inspector General’s Office of Udaipur and has been awarded in the year 1995, 2000 and 2009.

Residing in Fatehpura, Devendra Singh has three children. His wife is a teacher in government school. Rao is the younger brother of a well known advocate Rao Ratan Singh.

On this 26th January, Devendra Singh Rao will be awarded by Governor during the State Level Function at Sawai Maan Singh Stadium, Jaipur.

Previously he received Uttam Seva Chinh award in 1995 and 2000. Then in the year 2009 he was given the Atiuttam Seva Chinh award.
