BJP Condemns CBI for Rathor's arrest
A number of prominent BJP leaders including Gulabchand Kataria (MLA & former Home Minister), Rajni Dangi (Chairman, Municipal Council), Randhir Singh Bhinder (former MLA) and Yudhistar Kumawat gathered today in front of the Collector’s office to protest against the arrest of Rajendra Rathore, BJP Legislator and former minister who was recently arrested by CBI (Jaipur) in the famous Daria Encounter case.

Organizing a small assembly, the party leaders expressed their views and said that the arrest of their party member is a political conspiracy.
Gulab Chand Kataria in his conversation with media blamed CBI for allegedly misusing their power. “We are protesting against CBI and its role that only on the basis of a recorded telephonic conversation, they arrested Rajendra Singh, which is not strong evidence,” said Kataria.
Randhir Singh Bhinder, BJP Legislator of Bhinder constituency said, “Although we respect the decision of the court we also trust that Rajendra Rathore is innocent and he became the prey of the opposition party.”
Rajendra Singh Rathore was arrested on 5th April by CBI officials in Jaipur for his alleged involvement in killing of Dara Singh alias Daria in October 2006.
According to media reports, 13 people have been arrested till now for the fake encounter case which includes top police officials, sub inspectors and constables.
