In a party meeting called by BJP (City) today evening, under the leadership of Sunder Lal Bhanawat declared that Geeta Patel is now re-assigned on her post as Chairperson of Saras Milk Dairy. Geeta patel was suspended from the party after her arrest by ACB under the charges of taking bribe on 29^th June, 2012.

On 29^th June, Anti Corruption Bureau arrested Geeta Patel for taking bribe of Rs. 10,000 from Sandeep Lashkar, resident of Lakhara Chowk in the name of allotment of Saras Dairy Booth. Next day, BJP suspended her from party and setup an investigation on the whole matter.

Today, party restored her position after giving her a clean chit in the case calling it a planned move against Geeta Patel.
