Focusing on the tribal population of Udaipur district, Gandhi said that Congress wants to develop tribal and poor people. He said, “We want overall development of the country which includes development of poor and needy, but opposition wants their personal development and are aiming to gain power.”
Alleging on BJP’s manifesto, Rahul Gandhi said, “They have just changed the logo, otherwise their whole manifesto is copied from Congress.”
He talked about reform, women empowerment, economy, inflation, education, healthcare and senior citizens.
In every topic, Rahul Gandhi compared both Congress and BJP, and pulled down the latter party to all extent.
Slamming BJP, Rahul Gandhi said, “BJP’s India Shining mission was a balloon that was already busted. Though they tried again but this time that balloon will bust in Gujarat.”
“BJP launched the Mission-25 but Congress’ mission is removing inflation, removing poverty and development of nation,” he added.
Rahul Gandhi also supported Lok Sabha Election candidate Raghuveer Singh Meena and appealed the crowd to support him in the election.
Other congress leaders including Selja Kumari, Sachin Pilot, Irshad Baig Mirza, Neelima Sukhadia, Lal Singh Jhala, Neeraj Dangi were present in the rally.
Rahul Gandhi was expected to arrive at 11am but he arrived at 2:30pm at Vidya Bhawan Ground. He reached Gandhi Ground at 3pm; around 15 to 20 thousand people attended the speech.
Before arriving to Udaipur, Rahul Gandhi addressed a public speech in Jhunjhunu.
