CM Vasundhara Raje should resign, says Ashok Gehlot

“CM Vasundhara Raje should resign from her position after her financial relations with Lalit Modi got exposed. After the investigation of the matter, if she gets a clean chit, she can take the oath again for the position.”

Former CM Ashok Gehlot addressed the gathering on Sunday in Udaipur. Gehlot while talking about the upcoming Municipal Corporation polls claimed that Congress will now emerge with a new energy as all the members are instructed to work harder.

He claimed that the ruling party is proving to be a complete failure as on his visit to the rural areas of the state, he found the people to be unhappy with the work by the government. Moreover, the welfare schemes are either changed or stopped by the existing government.

Gehlot showed concern over the present scenario and claimed that this was seen for the first time that the graph of the existing government has gone down in a short period of 6 month since it was formed.

“The youth of the state had been fooled by the government as it promised to give employment to around 15 Lac youths and to all the unemployed people but nothing has been changed till now. The government is doing nothing but just changing the names of the welfare schemes that were introduced by Congress in previous years,” Gehlot added.

Gehlot came to Udaipur on Sunday morning to attend the Seminar “Nehru’s Vision for India” being organized by the Rajiv Gandhi Study Circle at the compound of Mohan Lal Sukhadia University on the occasion of PT. Jawahar Lal Nehru’s 125th birth year. Gehlot being the National President of the Rajiv Gandhi study circle said that a state level seminar with a motive to let the young generation know about the ideologies of Nehru will be organized. The seminars had previously been organized at Jaipur, Bikaner, Bharatpur and Kota Division.

Ashok was accompanied by the leading spokesman Professor Irfan Habib with other prominent leaders of congress party including Girija Vyas, Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya and Raghuveer Singh Meena were present at the seminar.
