A clash broke out today during a press conference of the Rajasthan State Regional Level Congress Committee held at the Circuit House, Udaipur.

A clash broke out today during a press conference of the Rajasthan State Regional Level Congress Committee held at the Circuit House, Udaipur.

Certain party workers who were not invited became agitated, which led to an argument between the party members. The members Sharafat Hussain, Mujeeb Siqqiqui, Puran Menaria, Arjun Rajora, Dilip Audichya and Abdul Kadir Khan among others were those who were not invited in the press meet.

They blamed Neeraj Dangi, Regional Congress Minister and Pankaj Sharma, Vice President, District Congress committee for excluding them from the conference.

Some of the members allegedly blamed the party’s higher authorities for forming subgroups within the organization and favoring certain members.

A major display of anger was made against the presence of Pankaj Sharma, Vice President of the District Congress Committee in the press conference. The protesting members said that Sharma, not being of higher authority was invited while they were not.

It was also mentioned during the argument that Sharma allegedly runs a Media Centre without proper acknowledgment from the party.

The Press conference was organized in order to inform the media and the people about a workshop which will be conducted by the Congress Party for all the members and workers of the party.
