Five contenders from different political parties filed their nominations for State Assembly Elections 2013 in front of election officers.
BJP’s Gulabchand Kataria and Phool Singh Meena reached collectorate with their supporters and submitted their nominations.

Five contenders from different political parties filed their nominations for State Assembly Elections 2013 in front of election officers.

BJP’s Gulabchand Kataria and Phool Singh Meena reached collectorate with their supporters and submitted their nominations.

Kataria alleges Congress for scores of national issues like inflation, corruption, terrorism which has broke down the strength of the country. Kataria said that, “This election will decide the future of India.”

When asked about those BJP activists who are feeling dejected, Kataria said that a meeting was held between all party workers and everyone has promised for support.

Congress MLA, Sajjan Katara who is going to fight from Udaipur Rural also filed her nomination. Two former congress leaders, Devendra Kumar Meena and Mohammad Saeed Sakka submitted their nomination as Independent candidate.

All leaders reached collectorate in the form of procession. Their supporters were stopped on the distance of 100 meters from the election nomination office, as per the rules.

Congress’ Dinesh Shrimali who got the ticket for Udaipur (City) and other contenders will file their nomination on 12th Nov, including former BJP leader Randheer Singh Bhinder who will file his nomination as Independent Candidate from Vallabhnagar.

Supporters were seen cheering and chanting slogans to support their respective leaders. The procession was started from Surajpol where supporters of both Sajjan Katara and Gulabchand Kataria allegedly manhandled each other but the situation was controlled by the police. Supporters of Dinesh Shrimali also held a rally.

Sajjan Katara while talking to media said, “I am happy that party has once again showed confidence in me and I will try to accomplish all development tasks for public welfare.”

When asked about Devendra Kumar Meena, Sajjan Katara said that, she doesn’t care who is putting what allegations on her. She added, “He is no more from our party nor has he done any development work, while I am working in rural areas for several years”.

91 Quits Congress to support Devendra Kumar Meena

91 Congress activists of rural areas including Devendra Kumar Meena, secretary, Rural Congress resigned from the party today. The resignation letter, enclosed with names and signatures of all the party workers was presented to Lal Singh Jhala, president of Rural Congress.

The activists said that Devendra Kumar Meena should be given ticket in place of Sajjan Katara. Alleging Katara for corruption, members also said that C.P Joshi has ignored the dedicated party workers and gave another chance to Katara.

Meena first filled the form on 9th Nov as Congress Representative but when he didn’t get ticket from Congress party, he re-filed his nomination today as an Independent candidate.
