Kataria receives Grand Welcome

After being granted relief till 14th June in Sohrabuddin Sheikh’s fake encounter case, ex home minister for state, Gulab Chand Kataria received a cheerful welcome upon his arrival at Udaipur today morning. Kataria is one of the four people accused for allegedly plotting the encounter.

 

Kataria receives Grand Welcome

After being granted relief till 14th June in Sohrabuddin Sheikh’s fake encounter case, ex home minister for state, Gulab Chand Kataria received a cheerful welcome upon his arrival at Udaipur today morning. Kataria is one of the four people accused for allegedly plotting the encounter.

All local BJP leaders including Pramod Samar, Paras Singhvi, Dinesh Bhatt, Motilal Dangi and Rajni Dangi welcomed Kataria with garlands and chanted slogans in his support.

Mumbai session court has asked CBI to produce facts relating to the famed encounter of Sohrabuddin Sheikh within 10 days. CBI had previously submitted a supplementary charge sheet and accused Gulab Chand Kataria, RK Marble’s chief Vimal Patni and two administrative officers of Orissa for allegedly plotting the encounter.

In his address to the media, Gulabchand Kataria said that, “it is evident that this is a plain conspiracy weaved by the opposition party against me as even after 6 months since the case was closed no evidence or proof against me has been produced.”

Kataria said that, “I have a long political career of more than three decades and for all these years I have worked hard for the betterment of the people of my region.”

When asked if he is looking forward to getting an important position in Rajasthan, Kataria said, “I am just a party worker and have no desire for becoming anything, but will respect every decision of the party.”

Representatives of Jain Community, Delwara, under the banner of Delwara Jain Society supported Kataria and presented a memorandum to District Collector in the name of President of India.
