A notice has been served to the State Assembly Election candidate Basanti Devi Meena from Salumber who has allegedly broke the Election Code of Conduct by distributing currency notes to local residents in a religious program.

The notice is issued by the R.O and the answer is waiting. The incident was highlighted by the local media of Salumber and Udaipur today by displaying photographs of Meena distributing notes to the rural women in a religious function.
Congress candidate Meena attended the function at Village Kahadi Fala. According to sources, she was accompanied with her supporters and joined the religious ceremony. She garlanded women with currency notes and also distributed individually.
