NSUI announces Himanshu Choudhary’s name for President
National Student’s Union of India (NSUI) Udaipur declared the names of its candidates for student union election which is going to be held on 30th Aug.
National Student’s Union of India (NSUI) Udaipur declared the names of its candidates for student union election which is going to be held on 30th Aug.
The names of eight candidates for several posts were announced in a press conference today. All senior leaders of NSUI were present on the occasion including Deepak Mewara, Dilip Singh Sisodia and Rizwan Khan.
Himanshu Choudhary’s name was announced as a candidate for the post of president whereas Hariom Meena for Vice President, Siddharth Soni for General Seceratry and Bhavya Meghwal’s name was announced for Joint Seceratary’s position.
NSUI also announced names of student leaders from Meera Girls College as Bhavyata Chouhan (president), Ashiwini Sauda (vice president), Shalini Choudhary (G. Sec) and Rabia Khan (Junior Sec.)
The candidates from MPUAT are yet to be announced. No formal manifesto was released but NSUI has informed the objectives which include serving students as their top priority.
While addressing the local media, Himanshu Choudhary said, “I am continuously appealing MLSU administration for connecting the university route with city buses, we will keep on working to facilitate students.”
Himanshu who left ABVP to join NSUI said, “A district level help centers is also in our list. Such centers will assist students on problems related to migration certificates, TC, result related problems etc.”
“We also want MLSU to have its own engineering college,” said Himanshu.
Appointing Lokpal to stop corruption and making available all scholarship related information online are also proposed.
