Raj Babbar, the Bollywood Actor and Politician arrived in the city today to extend his support to congress party candidate Dinesh Shrimali. However, the program could not go as per the schedule due to some legal problems.

Congress Party had organized a road show today which was supposed to be led by Raj Babbar, but the program was canceled as the administration did not give them the permission for the event. Babbar held a short address at Shastri Circle and appealed voters to support Dinesh Shrimali.

All the congress party workers and supporters were gathered in large number to hear Babbar, but due to sudden changes in the program, Raj Babbar immediately left the gathering.

The rally was continued by other senior members of the party including Neelima Sukhadia, Dinesh Shrimali, Trilok Purbia, K.K Sharma, Gopal Sharma, Mujeeb Siddiqui etc.

Another campaign rally was also carried out today in support of Sajjan Katara, one of the contestants in state assembly elections.
