Since student union elections are approaching, University and Colleges have become battle ground for election candidates and their supporters.

Preparation for election campaigns, nomination procedures and other episodes has started in MLSU. Moreover the prolong rivalry between various groups are also popping up with heated arguments and minor clashes.

Today the atmosphere of MLSU turned tense when the candidates of ABVP and NSUI came face to face with their supporters. However, police controlled the aggressive students before the situation turned violent.

Himanshu Choudhary, who was an active member of ABVP, joined NSUI after not getting opportunity from his previous group. ABVP selected Devendra Singh Chundawat to represent their group while Kunal Singh is selected from CSS.

The announcement of Himanshu was made today. All senior members of NSUI Deepak Mewara, Dilip Singh Sisodia, Dilip Jharoli, Krishnapal Singh Chundawat etc were present there.

Seeing the sensitivity of situation, police department is also prepared to tackle any situation. Radhmal Singh SHO Pratap Nagar informed that, special security arrangements are done in university premises and a team of cops are appointed to keep close eye on every activity of students.

All students are strictly instructed not to put any poster or banner in the city or any public place. Strict action will be taken against the offender.
