Kesar Singh is set to be elected unopposed from Ward No 3 in the upcoming UMC Elections. This unopposed election comes on the back of rejection of the candidature of Prashant Shrimali, the only other candidate vying for the seat.

A first time Corporator, Kesar Singh’s victory is set to be announced on 14th November. Though the official announcement is yet to come, the supporters of Singh started celebrating today as soon as the news of rejection of the candidature of Prashant Shrimali came out.

District Collector’s Headquarter witnessed heavy crowd today while the candidate verification process of Municipal Corporation Election was carried out. Applications of 200 people, who had filed nomination for the upcoming general election of Municipal Corporation, were scrutinized today.
