Disposing of 30 cases under major penalty proceedings, approval has been given to stop the annual increments of 17 serving officials and the pension of 16 retired officials. This action emphasises ensuring good governance, transparency, administrative accountability, protection of state resources, and seriousness towards public service duties.

The annual increments of an officer of the Rajasthan Administrative Service, who showed negligence in the inspection and maintenance of works of the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, have also been stopped. Meanwhile, action has been taken against the concerned medical officers in 3 cases of long-term voluntary absence in the Medical and Health Department. Punitive action has also been decided as per rules against officials of Labour, Horticulture, and Secretariat services after allegations were proven.
Pension stopped on serious financial irregularities
Strict action was also taken on serious financial irregularities in the cases of retired officials. Under this, action has been taken to permanently stop 100 percent of the payable pension of a retired officer of the Rajasthan Accounts Service after the allegation of tampering with government records to give undue benefit to a private company and causing heavy financial loss to the state government was proven.

Similarly, a Development Officer and an Assistant Engineer have also been punished in a case of making fake payments without work in the works of the Panchayat Samiti. Apart from this, strict action has also been taken in cases related to Medical-Health, Social Justice and Empowerment, Mines, College Education, and Devasthan Department.

By taking strict action against serving as well as retired personnel, a strong message has been given that retiring after committing a crime does not mean that the rest of life will be spent in peace. The Bhajan Lal government will catch and punish such criminals who harm the interests of the common public from anywhere and is doing so.
