Cricket Actions awaited in KV #1 Regional Sports Meet
Kendriya Vidyalaya (“KV”, Central Schools) Udaipur is hosting a regional sports meet from 23rd August till 26th August. The opening ceremony of boys’ under-19 cricket matches will be held at K.V No.1 Pratap Nagar.

The opening match will be played on Pratap Nagar school ground, while the rest of the matches will be played at the BN College ground.
The cricket matches are part of the national level sports meet exclusively for schools of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under MHRD.
Nearly 35 teams of Jaipur region KVs are going to participate in the league and knock-out matches, said Principal in charge B.K Kothari in a press conference held today.
Various government, non government and educational organizations including District Cricket Association, B.N Physical College and Department of Education etc are supporting the event.
The tournament will be inaugurated by Hariprasad Sharma, S.P., Udaipur, while, two of the famous Ranji players and former students of KV Vineet Saxena and Nikhil Doru are also going to be present on the occasion.
According to Shariq Sheikh Secretary and coach (of the event), “the finals will be played on 26th August and from there we will choose 20 best players for additional coaching and finally out of 20, 16 will be sent to represent Rajasthan in national level matches to be held in Lucknow from 16-21st October.”
Also, region level girl’s hockey matches will start from 27th till 29th Aug, said hockey coach Nahar Singh Jhala.
