Udaipur, Jan 02, 2025: Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, popularly known as “Ro-Ko”, will return to international cricket in the new year. To mark the occasion, the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) has introduced special tickets for fans.

The third and final ODI of the India vs New Zealand series will be played on January 18 at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. Cricket fans across Madhya Pradesh are eager to watch Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in action. Tickets for the day-night match will be available only through online sale. As part of a special initiative, the MPCA has reserved tickets for students and specially abled cricket fans.

Special Ticket Scheme for Students and Specially Abled Fans

Excitement is already building ahead of the final match of India’s first ODI series of the new year. Under the new scheme, fixed quotas have been announced for students and specially abled spectators in the stadium galleries. Each student is allowed to purchase only one ticket.

The same arrangement was made for specially abled spectators. Tickets for this category are priced at ₹300. Seats for these fans are allotted in the North-East Gallery. As part of the verification process, applicants must upload valid government certificates. After successful verification, they will be able to buy tickets at the reduced price. If a wheelchair is needed, this must be informed in advance.

It is important to note that while the BCCI has announced the squad for the T20 series against New Zealand, the ODI squad has not yet been named. According to sources, the ODI team is likely to be announced between January 2 and January 4.

Team News and Match Build-Up

There are also reports of several changes in the Indian ODI team. Captain Shubman Gill is expected to return after recovering from injury. In his absence, KL Rahul led the team against South Africa. After Gill’s return, either Yashasvi Jaiswal or Ruturaj Gaikwad may miss out. There are also reports that Rishabh Pant could be dropped from the ODI squad.

Apart from students and specially abled fans, many cricket lovers are expected to turn up to watch Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in action. Tickets will be available on the online platform District by Zomato. Overall, preparations for the series finale in Indore are already in full swing.
