Inter school Chess Championship will start under the banner of St. Anthony’s School from 26^th April, Thursday at their Goverdhan Vilas school premises. William dsouza the principal of the host school informed that entry forms have been received from 15 different schools in which around 150 students will participate in 3 different categories.

Vikas Sahu, Championship Organizer and Chess Trainer informed, “In this championship cash prizes worth Rs. 8000 and trophies will be awarded for all the teams and individual events.”

All the participants will get participation certificate and mementos provided by the organizer.

The championship will be organized in 5 rounds and no fees will be charged for participation. The schools interested in sending their students can contact host school for registration.

The students from various schools like St. Anthony, Alok School, Central Academy, Central School, D.P.S, C.P.S, St. Gregarious School, Sunbeam, Indo – American School and many others will be participating in the championship.
