First Junior and sub Junior State level Karate Championship has started today at the Meera Girl’s College stadium under the patronage of United Rajasthan Karate- Do Association, affiliated to the World Karate-Do Federation.

The two days event is categorized under two main sections, viz. junior and sub junior for boys and girls from different districts of Rajasthan.

Pradeep Verma, Director of United Rajasthan Karate–Do Association and Rajesh Singh Tomar, organizer of the aforesaid event said “there are participants from 16 different districts of Rajasthan and the event is running under the supervision of Lal Darada , Technical Director of the World Karate Do Federation.”

He further mentioned, “The tournament is aimed at emphasizing the overall development of the individuals and is open only for those who have membership with the above mentioned association.”

Judges for the event are Lal Darda; Pradeep Verma; Monika Sargia, General Secretary of Meera Girl’s College; Mahendra Gahlot, State level Karate Referee; Anil Sharma, Senior category bronze medalist in Kata; Shaheen Khan, Khushboo Joshi and Rinni Pandiya, National level karate players and many more.

The districts represented by the participants in the championship are Udaipur, Banswara ,Dungarpur, Ajmer, Sikar, Sirohi, Jaipur, Sri Ganga Nagar ,Hanumangarh, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Dholpur, Jhodhpur, Bikaner, Churu and Rajsamand.
