Kartikeya Chauhan of Fateh School will represent Rajasthan on behalf of RBSE while Gungun of Central Academy will play on behalf of CBSE

Udaipur, May 1, 2025 – Two boxers from Udaipur have been selected for the SGFI U-19 Boxing Championship in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This information was shared by Narpat Singh Chundawat who is Rajasthan State Sports Council boxing coach.

Chundawat informed that Kartikeya Chauhan has been selected to represent Rajasthan on behalf of RBSE (Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education) while Gungun will represent CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). Kartikeya is a student of Fateh Senior Secondary School and Gungun is a student of Central Academy.

The SGFI, or School Games Federation of India, holds an annual national games championship and boxing is one of the disciplines included in it. The U-19 Boxing Championship is part of the overall SGFI Championship. The event typically features both boys and girls in the U-19 age category.
