MLSU's Lokesh Wins Bronze in All India Inter-University Boxing
Lokesh Khinchi from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, won a bronze medal in the 55–60 kg category at the All India Inter-University Boxing Championship 2026 held at Kurukshetra University
Udaipur, March 12, 2026 - Lokesh Khinchi of Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU), Udaipur, has won the bronze medal in the 55–60 kg weight category in Men’s boxing event at the All India Inter‑University Boxing Championship (Men) 2026 in Kurukshetra. The competition was held from March 2 to 8, 2026 in Kurukshetra University.
This information was shared by the MLSU University Sports Board Secretary Dr Bhimraj Patel.
Additionally, Kartikeya Chauhan of MLSU has qualified for the Khelo India University Games, which will be organised by the Government of India in the coming days.
University Sports Board Chairman Prof. Shurveer Singh Bhanawat and University Yoga Centre Coordinator Dr Hemraj Singh Choudhary have congratulated both the players along with team manager Dhaval Raj Mali and coach Vardhman Singh Naruka.
They also announced that Lokesh will be honoured with a cash prize by the University Sports Board on the occasion of National Sports Day (India) on August 29, 2026.
