Pune Cyclist reaches Lake City
Prasad Erande, a cyclist from Pune reached Udaipur today covering 2300km of journey bicycling. 29-Year-old Prasad is one of the top seven finalists selected for ‘Round the Globe World Bicycle Race 2014’.
Prasad Erande, a cyclist from Pune reached Udaipur today covering 2300km of journey bicycling. 29-Year-old Prasad is one of the top seven finalists selected for ‘Round the Globe World Bicycle Race 2014’.
While chilling at city’s Chocolate Room, Prasad has informed about his expedition and dream to create a new Guinness World Record. Started his journey on 22nd June from Pune, Prasad wants to paddle 15000 kms in 70 days.
Belonging to a lower middle class family, Prasad always wanted to do something big in sports and discovered his skills for cycling.
Geared with spot tracker (live tracking system) on his bicycle, Prasad told about his experience in Jaipur. He said, “I wanted to cycle at least 200km every day but while crossing Jaipur, I faced very bad weather condition which lowered my speed.”
Through social media channels, Prakash is continuously updating his location and experience throughout the journey.
