Rajasthan grabs 22 medals in National "Kudo" Championship

Team Rajasthan displayed exceptional sporting skills in the “Akshay Kumar International Invitational Kudo (Martial Art) Championship 2014” which was held in Mumbai’s Andheri Sports Complex. Rajasthan won total 22 medals which include 6 gold and 4 silver medals.

Team Rajasthan displayed exceptional sporting skills in the “Akshay Kumar International Invitational Kudo (Martial Art) Championship 2014” which was held in Mumbai’s Andheri Sports Complex. Rajasthan won total 22 medals which include 6 gold and 4 silver medals.

Chairman of Rajasthan State Sensei Rajkumar Menaria who also holds the position of director of Kudo Martial Art (Southern India) informed, “Players who received Gold Medals are: Ravi Sen, Tushar Mehta (Udaipur), Anjali Naiya, Anjali Vyas, Dev Kishan Prajapat and Akash Gurjar (Bikaner).”

Sliver Medalists: Abhijai Som, Kushi Bumb and Prithviraj Rankavat (Udaipur) and Khaitan Singh Parihar (Bikaner)

Bronze Medalists: Vipash Menaria, Nisha Sahu, Himmat Singh Bhati, Rajnandani Menaria, Ayush Upadhayay, Manish Panwar, Manju Menaria, Ritik Sahu, Harshvardhan Singh (Udaipur) and Rishabh Parihar, Ranu Makhija and Yosheshwar Barsa (Bikaner)

2129 players from 22 states of India took part in this four day tournament. Many renowned personalities including Sarbananda Sonwal, Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Aditya Thakery etc were present in the valedictory and prize distribution ceremony.
