State Boxers Strike Gold in National Championship
The boxers from Rajasthan won two gold and three bronze medals in the national event held in Noida

Udaipur, April 30, 2025 – In the recently concluded National Youth Boxing Championship held in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, the boxing team from Rajasthan delivered an impressive performance by securing two gold and three bronze medals.
Narpat Singh Chundawat, a coach with the Rajasthan State Sports Council, informed that the athletes showcased their skills under the guidance of boxing coach Shalini Naruka from Maharana Pratap Khel Gaon, Udaipur.
Suman Kumari won a gold medal in the 48 kg weight category while Nisha Kumari secured gold in the 54 kg category. The bronze medallists were Sanu Kumawat (51 kg), Anisha Kumari (80 kg) and Priyal Garg (super heavyweight category).
The winners were congratulated by Fateh Singh Rathore, Secretary of District Boxing Association, Dr Mahesh Paliwal, District Sports Officer, and coaches of Maharana Pratap Khel Gaon.
