Udaipur Gears Up for Khelo India University Games from Nov 23
Administrative preparations intensify as Udaipur hosts national university athletes across four major sports disciplines

Udaipur, Oct 31, 2025 - This year, the Khelo India University Games will be organised in Udaipur from November 23 to December 15, with participation from universities across the country. A total of 384 athletes and 235 supporting staff will take part. Competitions in Judo, Beach Volleyball, Kayaking and Canoeing will be held.
Preparations for the successful hosting of this year's Khelo India University Games in Udaipur have begun at full pace at the administrative level. The State Government and district administration are ensuring comprehensive arrangements for the mega sporting event.
Divisional Commissioner and Acting District Collector Pragya Kevalramani informed that various departments have been assigned special responsibilities. Committees formed for the event are finalising arrangements related to accommodation, meals, transportation, medical support, security and cultural programmes. Officials have been directed to complete all required facilities within the stipulated timeline for smooth execution of the competitions.
The event is expected to further strengthen Udaipur’s presence on the national sports map.
