Udaipur to host Rajasthan King’s Cup Boxing and Kick Boxing 2014
The Rajasthan King’s Cup Boxing and Kick Boxing 2014 will be held in Udaipur from 7th to 9th November. The 3 day championship will be organized by the local boxing lovers and boxing association of the city at Shree Mushtik Hanuman Gurukul situated at Dudhtalai area.

In a press meet which was today organized at Hotel Chunda Palace by the association people, the Patron of the association, Advocate Ratan Rao Singh informed that, with a view to give exposure to sports like Boxing and Kick boxing in Udaipur, the association has decided to organize the championship.
He further added that women should involve in the boxing tournaments and be a part of the association as this can be a big step for women empowerment.
Avinash Khatik, president of Kickboxing Association, Vishnu Joshi, Ratan Rao, and Dalpat Singh Chauhan, district Kickboxing’s senior member were also present at the press conference.
The state level boxing championship which will continue for 3 days will have around 400 participants coming from 25 different districts of the state. The participants will reach Udaipur on 7th November in the morning who will stay at Champa Lal Dharamshala. The championship will start in the afternoon at 3 pm, said Vishnu Joshi, Senior Member of Kick Boxing Association.
Joshi further added that the event will be inaugurated by Viram Dev Singh Krishnawat, renowned Polo Player of Udaipur and son of Ganshyam Singh Krishnawat, senior member of Kickboxing Association. The session will run in two parts, one in the afternoon and the other in the evening. On the 3rd day, prizes will be distributed.
