Khelo India: MLSU’s Vansh Sharma Wins Gold in Kayaking
Vansh Sharma wins gold in the Kayaking K-1 1000m event at the 5th Khelo India University Games 2025 held at Fateh Sagar, Udaipur
Udaipur, Dec 3, 2025 — Mohanlal Sukhadia University’s (MLSU) Vansh Sharma has won a gold medal in kayaking at the 5th Khelo India University Games 2025, held on Fateh Sagar. Vansh clinched the first sport in the K-1 1000-metre category, informed Dr Bheemraj Patel, Secretary of the MLSU Sports Board.
MLSU Vice-Chancellor Prof BP Saraswat extended congratulatory messages to Vansh as well as his team manager Pratiti Vyas and coaches Rudra Pratap Singh Chauhan and Nitin Bisht.
Prof Shurveer Singh Bhanawat, chairman of the Sports Board, announced that Vansh shall be felicitated by the Board on National Sports Day, August 29, 2026, and be given a cash prize.
